The iMac, perhaps the saviour of Apple,
In 1995 in an interview with Fortune Magazine, Steve Jobs declared "You Know, I've got a plan that could rescue Apple. I can't say any more than that it's the perfect product and the perfect strategy for Apple"
Introduced in 1998, the iMac has evolved through three form factors, the original CRT models pictured below left were followed up by one of the most marvellous designs in computing history, the iMac G4 (flatscreen) and then the current design of the G5 and Intel iMacs.

All iMacs featured integrated optical drives as well as cabling, meaning that the only cables needed were power and a single cable for the keyboard and mouse. iMacs as far back as the G3's can have bluetooth added for under $30 to enable the use of Apples Bluetooth Wireless keyboards thereby making the Mac look even sleeker and simpler.
CRT iMacs can benefit from easy Ram upgrades, harder Hard Drive upgrades and quite complex Superdrive upgrades. iMac G4 and G5 iMacs are easily upgradable, adding Ram, Hard Drives, Wireless and Superdrives is all possible. Some iMacs can also be upgraded to Blu Ray Drives enabling the storage of 50Gb on single discs identical in size to DVD's, Call me on 415-871-9683 or email me for more info..
